Pickyourtrail, India’s go-to platform for customised international holidays, is making its mark in Jaipur with the launch of a new office and offline store. Known for blending technology with personalised services, the company is now bringing its expertise closer to travellers in this culturally rich city, a strategic move in its broader push into India’s Tier 2 markets.

Jaipur, often called the Pink City, has seen a surge in interest for both international and domestic travel, mirroring national trends. A recent FICCI report highlights that India’s outbound tourism market is on track to reach USD 18.82 billion by 2024, driven by rising incomes, better connectivity, and a growing middle class. In Tier 2 cities like Jaipur, this demand for global travel is growing fast, with destinations like Southeast Asia and the Middle East becoming popular among Indian travellers.

According to Pickyourtrail, the trend is evident in its booking data. In 2024 alone, 10% of the company’s bookings came from Tier 2 cities, with Jaipur contributing significantly—showing over seven times more bookings in the first half of the year compared to the latter half.

Hari Ganapathy, Co-Founder of Pickyourtrail, expressed excitement over this expansion. “Customer experience is paramount for us. While we’ve come a long way, this is just the beginning. Jaipur is a key step in our plan to launch 50+ stores across India, focusing primarily on Tier 2 cities. These physical locations will enhance our online presence and cater to travellers who prefer personal interactions when planning significant trips,” he said.

The new Jaipur office starts with a team of 20 travel experts, with plans to grow to 75 in the coming months. This local team will offer personalized travel solutions, from planning and booking to execution, ensuring a seamless experience for customers. Ganapathy also highlighted Jaipur’s strategic importance, citing its proximity to Delhi and access to a skilled workforce as crucial factors in the company’s expansion.
