With over 24,000 music lovers from across the globe, the festival proved to be a big hit among Asian & European travellers. An initiative by Sarawak Tourism Board, RWMF has till date proved to be the most popular marketing stint by the organisation. However, the venue which hosts the RWMF every year (The Cultural Village) has the capacity to manage 5,000-6,000 people at a time and hence, the board is not looking at attracting more numbers.
