Cheval Blanc Seychelles Set to Open in December 2024, Offering a Blend of Luxury and Nature

October 16, 2024 | Press Release

Cheval Blanc, the iconic luxury brand known for its elegance and exceptional service, is set to unveil its latest gem on the shores of the Seychelles. Scheduled to open its doors on December 1, 2024, Cheval Blanc Seychelles marks the brand’s sixth Maison, bringing its renowned “art of living” to the breathtaking Anse Intendance beach on Mahé Island.

Nestled amidst the pristine beauty of the Indian Ocean, the resort features 52 stunning villas, each designed to offer privacy, luxury, and uninterrupted ocean views. Of these, 24 villas stretch along the white sand beach, while 28 are hidden within the lush green hills, seamlessly blending with the natural landscape. Ranging from 220m² to an expansive 620m², each villa boasts its own 12.5-metre swimming pool, making it the perfect escape for couples, families, or friends seeking a secluded retreat.

Designed by renowned architect Jean-Michel Gathy, the same visionary behind Cheval Blanc Randheli in the Maldives, the resort’s architecture beautifully marries spacious, contemporary design with Seychellois elements. Art lovers will be delighted by the works of artists like Joël Andrianomearisoa and Prune Nourry, which complement the resort’s chic, modern aesthetic.

Dining at Cheval Blanc Seychelles promises to be an extraordinary experience, with five unique restaurant concepts. Guests can indulge in cosmopolitan dishes with a Creole twist at Le White, savour Italian flavours at Vivamento by the pool, enjoy Mediterranean cuisine at the beach club Sula, explore contemporary Japanese delicacies at Mizumi, or experience French fine dining at Le 1947.

For those seeking relaxation and rejuvenation, the Spa Cheval Blanc, crafted in partnership with Guerlain, offers tailored treatments inspired by the natural beauty of the island. The spa features eight treatment rooms and promises a sanctuary of well-being.

Families are not left out either, as Le Carrousel, a sprawling 1,500m² play space, offers a range of activities for children and young guests. From outdoor explorations to water park fun and interactive installations, it’s designed to immerse families in the unique flora and fauna of the Seychelles.

Following its other prestigious seaside locations in the Maldives, Saint-Barthélemy, and Saint-Tropez, Cheval Blanc Seychelles promises to deliver an unforgettable experience, blending luxury with a deep connection to the local culture and environment.

Reservations open on October 15, 2024, for an unparalleled experience at one of the world’s most beautiful destinations.
