Korea Tourism Organization Gears Up for an Exciting 2025 at OTM Mumbai

January 28, 2025 | Press Release

The Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) is ready to make a bold statement at OTM 2025, set to take place from January 30 to February 1, 2025, at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. With a strong focus on India’s booming outbound travel market, KTO’s participation highlights South Korea’s commitment to attracting more Indian travellers and strengthening ties with the Indian travel trade.

“We are excited to kick off an extraordinary year with our presence at OTM 2025. This event is a unique platform for our delegation—comprising 10 Destination Management Companies (DMCs) and an airline partner—to engage with India’s leading travel professionals, share the diversity of Korea’s tourism offerings, and inspire Indian travellers to discover our beautiful country,” said Mr. Myong Kil Yun, Regional Director, India & SAARC Countries, Korea Tourism Organization (KTO).

Showcasing Korea’s Diverse Offerings
KTO’s strategic approach for 2025 includes a series of joint marketing promotions, familiarization (FAM) trips, digital campaigns, and multi-city roadshows designed to enhance South Korea’s visibility and appeal. The organization also plans to continue its participation in leading industry events like OTM to foster stronger partnerships with the Indian travel industry.

At OTM 2025, KTO will present a wide range of travel experiences that reflect the full spectrum of South Korea’s offerings—from luxurious escapes to the global sensation of Hallyu (the Korean Wave), to unique culinary adventures and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) opportunities. The KTO booth, located at FC350, will be the go-to place for business discussions, networking, and exploring customised travel packages tailored for Indian tourists. These efforts aim to strengthen Korea’s presence in the Indian market and increase tourist arrivals throughout 2025.

A Year of Opportunities
This year’s participation in OTM is just the beginning of a busy year for KTO in India. Through targeted marketing initiatives and strategic partnerships, KTO aims to boost its profile and offer more tailored experiences for Indian tourists in South Korea. Whether it’s a cultural journey, a thrilling adventure, or a luxury getaway, KTO is committed to making every trip to South Korea a memorable one.
