The travel industry is in mourning after the tragic incident involving the Ahmedabad–London Air India flight. Himanshu Patil, President of the Outbound Tour Operators Association of India (OTOAI), issued a heartfelt condolence message expressing grief on behalf of the outbound travel community.

Describing the event as a “heartbreaking loss,” Patil said the tragedy has shaken not just the travel fraternity, but the entire nation. “On behalf of OTOAI, I extend our sincerest condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones in this devastating tragedy,” he said in an official statement.

In his message, Patil acknowledged the deep sorrow the tragedy has caused and emphasised solidarity with the grieving families. “Words cannot ease the pain, but we stand with them in prayer, sorrow, and solidarity,” he noted.

The OTOAI President concluded with a message of peace and strength for the bereaved: “May the departed souls rest in eternal peace, and may the families find strength and courage in this time of unbearable loss.”

The travel trade community has come together in shared mourning, offering support and prayers in the wake of the incident.
