SriLankan Airlines has introduced “Serendib Delights,” a new pre-order meal service for Economy Class passengers, aiming to enhance the onboard dining experience. Available for pre-order before flights, the service offers a diverse menu catering to various dietary preferences, providing an elevated option for travellers.

Passengers can choose from a range of meals, including Salmon Steaks, Chicken Lamprais, Fillet Steaks, Beef Burgers, and a variety of breakfast options like Arabic, Western, and Indian breakfasts. The menu also caters to vegetarians, vegans, and those requiring gluten-free meals. All meals served from Colombo and many other locations in the SriLankan Airlines network are Halal certified.

Gayan Wickrama, Senior Manager Commercial Services and Support at SriLankan Airlines, stated, “Serendib Delights offers the best of exquisite flavours crafted by our culinary experts, making premium onboard dining more accessible.”

To pre-order meals, passengers must place their request at least 48 hours before departure through the SriLankan Airlines website, the 24-hour contact centre, or travel agents.

This new offering complements other value-added services, including extra legroom seats, neighbour-free seating, prepaid extra baggage, and the option to bid for Business Class upgrades.
