StarCruises Extends Star Voyager’s Hong Kong Deployment Through November 2025, Unveils New Regional Itineraries Across Asia

45 cruises confirmed from Hong Kong; new routes to Vietnam, the Philippines, Japan, and Sanya launched in response to growing demand

StarCruises has announced the extension of Star Voyager’s homeport deployment in Hong Kong through 14 November 2025, adding 24 new sailings to its original summer schedule and expanding its offering to a total of 45 roundtrip cruises. The move comes in direct response to strong bookings from Hong Kong, Mainland China, and the international fly-cruise market, signaling growing appetite for Asian cruising.

The extended season will see Star Voyager operate a vibrant mix of new and popular itineraries, ranging from 2-night short breaks to immersive 5-night regional voyages, all departing from Hong Kong’s centrally located Ocean Terminal.

“We’re delighted with the initial response and demand. As such, we’re pleased to extend our sailings from Hong Kong to over five months this season and to share a dynamic line-up of itineraries that truly reflects the spirit of Asian cruising,” said Mr. Michael Goh, President of StarDream Cruises. “These additional departures will create more opportunities for both local and international markets, offering greater variety and attracting cruisers across a broad range of segments.”

Expanded Itinerary Line-Up Includes Weekend Sea-cations, Japan Cruises, and Southeast Asia Voyages
StarCruises’ expanded deployment introduces increased departures for its most in-demand routes:
– 2-Night Weekend Sea-cation Cruises: 11 new sailings added (20 total departures from 27 June to 14 November), plus 2 weekday Sea-cations on 6 and 8 July
– 2-Night Cruises to Kaohsiung: 2 additional sailings (5 total departures from 2 July to 29 October)
– 3-Night Cruises to Kaohsiung and Penghu: 2 additional sailings (4 total departures between 29 June and 26 October)
– 5-Night Cruises to Naha and Ishigaki (Japan): 2 new sailings (5 total departures between 20 July and 2 November)
– 5-Night Cruise to Naha and Miyakojima (Japan): One special departure on 12 October
– 5-Night Cruise to Naha, Keelung, and Penghu: New itinerary variation replacing Ishigaki with Naha, departing 14 September

Debut of New Exotic Routes to Vietnam, the Philippines, and Sanya (Hainan)
As part of its expanded portfolio, Star Voyager will debut new 5-night cruises to emerging destinations across Southeast Asia and Southern China:
– Vietnam (Nha Trang & Da Nang) + Sanya: Departs 31 August & 5 October
– Vietnam (Ha Long Bay & Da Nang) + Sanya: Departs 21 September & 19 October
– Philippines (Boracay & Coron): Departs 9 November

Known for its pristine beaches and luxury appeal, Sanya—often called the “Hawaii of China”—adds a unique coastal charm to these itineraries.

Limited-Time Offers for Early Bookings
Guests can enjoy an exclusive 10% discount on Star Voyager’s new itineraries departing between 31 August and 14 November 2025. Additionally, bookings made between 23 June and 25 July for select July and August sailings will receive HK$100 onboard credit per cabin, per night.

A Strategic Step for Asian Cruise Recovery
With its growing cruise portfolio and extended Hong Kong presence, Star Voyager is set to play a key role in reviving cruise tourism across the region. Each itinerary is designed to highlight Asia’s rich coastal diversity—from the cultural wonders of Vietnam to the idyllic waters of the Philippines.

“These additional departures will create more opportunities for both local and international markets. They offer greater variety and attract cruisers across a broad range of segments,” added Goh.
