Southeast Asia’s cruise scene is set for a major boost as StarDream Cruises, home to the iconic Star Cruises and Dream Cruises brands, announced an expanded roster of itineraries designed to make sailing more accessible to Malaysian travellers. With Port Klang, Melaka, and Singapore all serving as embarkation points, the new program offers greater convenience and variety for regional cruisers.

The expansion kicks off during the year-end school holidays and festive season, with Star Voyager returning to Malaysia between 19 December 2025 and 2 February 2026. From Port Klang Cruise Terminal, guests can choose between:

– 3-night sailings to Pulau Bintan & Singapore (Friday departures), a weekend escape blending beaches and city life.
– 4-night sailings to Phuket & Singapore (Monday departures), offering tropical beauty and vibrant nightlife alongside urban discovery.

Star Voyager will also offer departures from Singapore’s centrally located Cruise Centre between 20 November 2025 and 5 February 2026, with short sailings to Penang, Port Klang, Pulau Bintan, and Phuket.

Adding to the excitement, Genting Dream will expand its footprint with departures from Port Klang between 20 April 2026 and 29 March 2027, alongside its regular year-round sailings from Melaka and Singapore. The itineraries include: 3-night cruises to Penang & Singapore, combining Penang’s UNESCO-listed heritage and famed street food with Singapore’s modern attractions.

From Singapore’s Marina Bay Cruise Centre, a diverse 2026/2027 season program awaits, featuring weekend high-seas getaways, short sailings to Melaka and Pulau Redang, and longer adventures to Koh Samui, Bangkok, and even Bali.

The expanded deployment reflects StarDream Cruises’ strategy to strengthen its Southeast Asia presence by tapping into Malaysia’s position as a fast-growing cruise hub.
