Air Austral to resume flight operations on Chennai – Reunion Island route

Reunion Island based airline – Air Austral resume its flights to Chennai on May 2, 2022 with the approval of its regulatory authorities and Indian authorities. The airline will deploy its brand new A220-300 aircraft on this route and will operate twice on week on Tuesdays and Fridays.

The flights are already open for reservations at Air Austral sales counters, via travel agents and through its website.

Currently, the airline operators:
Reunion Island – Mayotte (A minimum of one flight a day, 9 flights a week)
Reunion Island – Mauritius (A minimum of one flight a day, up to 4 daily flights)
Reunion Island – Madagascar (the airline is authorised to operate 4 weekly flights between Reunion and Tananarive. The days of the operation and the times of the two additional flights are currently awaiting approval from Madagasy Civil Aviation.
Reunion Island – Seychelles (up to two weekly flights, every Sunday and Thursday)
Reunion Island – Moroni (the Comoros) – up to two weekly flights.
