Air India ‘Flying Returns’ members to earn points on tickers to Madame Tussauds globally

Air India has initiated a global partnership with Merlin Entertainments, the global leader in location-based family entertainment, to extend benefits to its Flying Returns (FR) loyalty program members. Effective May 8, 2024, Flying Returns members can accrue Reward Points when purchasing tickets to Madame Tussauds at nine global locations, with plans to include two more locations soon.

Under the partnership facilitated by GlobalTix, Asia’s leading travel technology company, Flying Returns members can earn up to 16 FR points per INR 100/USD 1.2 spent at participating Madame Tussauds locations.

As part of an exclusive launch offer valid until June 25, 2024, and visits completed by June 30, 2024, members can earn double Reward Points at select Madame Tussauds locations and avail a complimentary entry for one child (2-11 years) when accompanied by two adults at specific locations.

The partnership was formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed at Madame Tussauds Dubai during the Arabian Travel Market 2024 event.

Dominique Sidley, Global Trade Strategy Director at Merlin Entertainments, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, highlighting India’s strategic significance and the opportunity to cater to diverse Indian consumers.

Sunil Suresh, Head of Loyalty, Marketing, and E-commerce at Air India, emphasised the alignment of the partnership with Air India’s commitment to enhancing the Flying Returns program, providing members with more rewarding experiences.

Chan Chee Chong, CEO of GlobalTix, expressed delight in facilitating the partnership, underscoring the commitment to enriching travel experiences for Air India’s loyal customers.
