All eyes on Dubai Expo 2020: For TAAI Members in Mumbai

To promote the Dubai Expo 2020, which is billed as one of the world’s greatest shows since the pandemic, Charson Advisory (Official Sales & Marketing Representative for Dubai Expo 2020 in India) organised their first multi-city roadshow in Mumbai in association with TAAI. The Expo is expecting to attract over a million Indian visitors in the span of six months: October 2021 till March 2022.

Carl Vaz, Chairman & CEO, Charson Advisory Services said, “We are constantly working towards changing the perception of travel trade and travellers about Dubai Expo 2020 which is considered as just another Expo. Well, it is more than just an Expo. It is a global extravaganza that will be an excellent destination for all age groups. The cherry on the top is the Expo is closer to home this time and Indians must experience this show before it goes back to the European region.”
Speaking about the association, Jyoti Mayal, President, TAAI said, “TAAI continues to upskill its members with constant training on products to expand their business opportunities. I’m sure Dubai Expo 2020 is going to be a very interesting project as it is something the Indian travel trade has been looking forward to for a few years.”
In India, there are 16 Authorised Tickets Resellers (ATR) for Dubai Expo 2020 to distribute tickets and reach out to the travel trade for any queries. Apart from Dubai Expo 2020, Emirates and Etihad Airways also highlighted their key offerings through presentations.
Dubai Expo 2020 has also tied up with TAFI and SKAL India for similar training programs with offline and online formats focusing majorly on training the front-line staff of travel companies. The Dubai Expo will take place in between the cities of Dubai and Abu Dhabi. It will be a grand event, which will witness 60 shows every day, and will have 191 country pavilions, and will have more than 200 restaurants at the venue.
