Aussie Architectural Marvels- The Sydney Opera House and Melbourne Star were lit up this weekend in celebration of Diwali, also popularly known as the Indian festival of lights.

The Melbourne star commemorated the Indian festival, the brotherhood between the two countries and the Indian community Down under by a resplendent light show which showcased the 3 colours of The ‘Indian Tiranga’ i.e. The Tricolour flag of India in all its glory. Meanwhile the Sydney Opera House left the world awe-struck by lighting up its grandiose sails in beautiful hues of yellow and orange to mark the occasion.

This effort alongside several other celebrations of the festival across the nation, were an endeavour by Australia to celebrate Diwali alongside the thousands of Indians that call Australia home as well as Indians across the world.
