Hahnair Strengthens India Presence with Travelsla Appointment as Service Partner

September 1, 2025 | Press Release

Global distribution specialist Hahnair has appointed Travelsla as its official service partner in India, reinforcing its commitment to the country’s fast-evolving travel trade. The move will give Indian travel agencies stronger local support, access to training, and seamless connections to Hahnair’s network of more than 350 partner airlines.

Travelsla, founded by aviation veteran Salil Nath, brings decades of leadership experience across airlines and travel management companies. The company, known for its representation and GSA services, combines global expertise with a partner-first approach—an alignment that Hahnair says makes them ideally positioned to represent the brand in India.

Expanding Support for Agencies
Under the new partnership, Travelsla will serve as the first point of contact for Indian travel agencies using Hahnair’s services. Support will include guidance on ticketing, assistance with ticketing authority requests for partner airlines, and training initiatives to familiarise agents with Hahnair’s products. The partnership aims to simplify processes for Indian agents while giving them direct access to a wider global network.

“Travelsla’s strong market insight and relationships within the Indian travel trade will be invaluable in strengthening our support across the region,” said Kimberley Long, Vice President of Agency Distribution at Hahnair.

Commitment to the Market
In addition to the Travelsla partnership, Hahnair will continue to provide agents direct access to its service desk (serviceindia@hahnair.com). Regional Vice President Bharat Kapoor will also be available to support the trade, underlining the company’s emphasis on maintaining close ties with its Indian partners.

“We trust Travelsla to be an extension of Hahnair in India,” Kapoor noted. “Their market expertise and commitment to service make them the ideal partner for representing us locally.”

Opportunity for Indian Agents
For Indian agencies, the collaboration means greater ease in tapping into Hahnair’s global reach. “We are proud to represent Hahnair in India,” said Salil Nath, Founder & CEO of Travelsla. “Hahnair’s strong airline network, backed by reliable processes and support, will open new opportunities for agencies here and help them deliver better solutions for their clients.”

As competition in the distribution space intensifies, the partnership signals Hahnair’s intention to cement its role in the Indian market while empowering local agencies with global access.
