Kenya based Sarova Hotels & Resorts on its first travel meet in India post 2020

Sarova Hotels & Resorts is on its first showcase in India post-pandemic. Represented by ARK Representations in India, Kenya’s leading hotel chain conducted a brilliant educational session with select 50 travel experts from Mumbai and will be heading to Bengaluru, Ahmedabad and Kolkata. The delegation includes Mita Vohra, Board of Directors; Selina Dima, Central Reservations & Travel Trade Manager; Shailendra Singh, Director – F&B Operations and Anjum Lokhandwala, Director, ARK Representations.
Speaking at an exclusive dinner organised for MICE operators and media in Mumbai, Vohra said, “We have mastered the art of catering to the Indian guests from Kenya and western markets in the last 48 years. We know the taste palates and services they require during their stay in Kenya. Hence, we are confident that we will be well accepted by the Indian market and are keen to welcome them to our country with warm hospitality, brilliant wildlife experiences, sumptuous food and excellent quality properties.”
When asked about the properties in Kenya, Lokhandwala said, “We are a four-star property brand with five-star services.”
The company recently have taken over the management of Imperial Hotel Kisumu and will be open from August 2022 after renovations. Sarova Hotels is currently the only hospitality group in the country operating quality properties in Kenya’s four cities – Sarova Stanley and Sarova Panafric in Nairobi, Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort in Mombasa, Sarova Imperial Hotel in Kisumu, and Sarova Woodlands and Sarova Lion Hill in Nakuru City.
