One Above DMC hosts a FAM to Georgia for its trade partners

One Above DMC, a Mumbai-based company, recently organized a 4-night familiarization trip to Georgia for its key trade partners in Mumbai. Georgia is a country that is slowly gaining popularity among Indian travellers as a perfect summer getaway with unique destination offerings and attractions.
Rahim Aslam, Co-Founder of One Above DMC, stated that Georgia has become the most visited country in the South Caucasus due to its rich culture and diverse landscapes, making it an ideal destination for anyone who loves history and nature. He said, “The aim of the trip was to showcase the luxury side of Georgia, despite the destination being known for budget-friendliness and hospitality. One Above DMC planned a luxury travel itinerary to showcase the best aspects of Georgia and to provide our key trade travel partners with first-hand travel experiences to the destination in preparation for the upcoming season.”
The itinerary included visits to Tbilisi, Kazbegi tour, Mtskheta, and Tsinandali. In terms of tourism success,
Aslam said, “Georgia is a country that never fails to impress with its picturesque green valleys dotted with vineyards, and its old churches and watchtowers nestled in breathtaking mountain landscapes. In recent times, Tbilisi has become one of the trendiest cities in Europe, boasting a thriving club scene, top-notch restaurants, and a variety of natural wine bars that make it the most fashionable destination in the region. Equally remarkable are the people of Georgia who are proud, spirited, and hospitable. Georgia takes pride in being the birthplace of wine, and its culture revolves around treating guests as blessings and hospitality being the very essence of life.”
Speaking about numbers, Georgia’s numbers are well on course, with tourist numbers dipping to over a third below pre-pandemic figures, but industry sales rose from 3.3 to 3.5 billion US dollars last year, making it a promising destination for travellers.
