Fernando Heredia Noguer, The Consul General of Spain in Mumbai was also present at the event and updated everyone on the latest travel guidelines to Spain from India. He was positive that the EU Commission will soon revise the 240-day second vaccine dose criteria which will future boost tourism from India to Europe. Speaking about achieving the pre-covid tourism numbers from India; Elisa Robles, The Director of the Tourism Office of Spain in India said, “We will be engaging with our travel trade partners and end travellers through multiple activities and events to get back to our pre-covid tourism numbers from India. In fact, I’m keen to record growth on those numbers as I can already see a lot of interest for Spain among Indian travellers.”
