Talking about bringing Thailand on a platter in Mumbai, Tanawat Sirikul, Consul General of Thailand, Mumbai said, “Though travel to Thailand is not possible for the time being, Indians can cook up authentic Thai cuisine with easily available ingredients. We understand the Thai cuisine is increasingly becoming popular among Indians and we intend to keep Thailand close to Indians – be it cuisine, culture or business relations. Thailand will soon open for tourism with certain protocols in place and we can’t wait to welcome Indians to our country.”
