The Iconic Experiences Show announced for October 16 – 17, 2023

Recognizing the burgeoning potential of the Luxury Segment, Jyoti Mayal, President of TAAI, and Chander Mansharamani, Managing Director, Alpcord PRO MICE have jointly unveiled a new event – The Iconic Experiences Show.

Scheduled for October 16-17, 2023, at the Hyatt Regency New Delhi, this two-day event aims to spotlight the evolving luxury travel market. During a recent Virtual Conference with the media, Mrs. Mayal offered an overview of the upcoming event.

Mayal expressed, “Much like every significant achievement originates from a modest idea, TIES was conceived with the notion that in the post-pandemic era, people seek experiential travel rather than mundane itineraries. To cater to these discerning travelers, travel agents must go the extra mile, think outside the box, and explore innovative ideas, a step beyond the usual. TIES will afford them the opportunity to engage directly with states, countries, attractions, and DMCs, understanding how to repackage traditional destinations differently and offer an Iconic Experience to their clients.”

This year, the Experiential Show deliberately maintains a smaller scale and format, serving as a testing ground for future growth. The organisers are planning to expand TIES significantly next year, encompassing a broader scope. TIES 2023 will emphasise five industry sectors: Weddings, Wellness, Leisure, Conferences, and Sustainability. Several countries, including Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia, Korea, Germany, and more (confirmations pending), will showcase their offerings. Additionally, various states and DMCs have confirmed their participation. The Business Session on October 16 will revolve around the five mentioned sectors, featuring a Master Class by a prominent personality and surprise elements. The full-day Tourism Summit will host a session where leading women from the tourism and hospitality sector will discuss Sustainability.

“I firmly believe that the era of Travel Agents is far from over. In fact, everyone I’ve spoken to expresses a desire to collaborate with a travel agent, whether they’re consumers or suppliers. It’s the agents who need to elevate their performance, and TIES is a step towards enabling that growth. That’s precisely why we’ve kept it an inclusive event, not limited to pre-booked meetings. As for Buyers, we’ve invited Golfers, Wedding Planners, HNIs, Women Influencers, and more, organising Power Breakfasts, High Tea, and additional opportunities for Buyers and Exhibitors to engage in meaningful interactions,” Mayal concluded.
