Three market leaders organise three-city roadshow in South India

With an aim to fuel growth from the South India market, three leading travel companies joined hands to create more awareness about their respective travel products in the region. Mumbai based Destination Masters in association with New Delhi based Kazin DMC collaborated with Cora Cora Maldives to organise a three-city roadshow – Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad in mid-February 2022. Close to 50 top outbound travel companies from each city were invited for the product presentation and cocktail event.

Speaking about the whole concept and collaboration, Sapneal Rao, Director, Destination Masters said, “While our major business leads are generated from the two top metro cities, we, as a company, wanted to turn our focus on South India market too. Hence we opted for Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. These three cities have immense potential for all the products we represent and promote. We are the leading seller of Cordelia Cruises in India and also represent Mathias tourism, Bahrain. Apart from this, we are into wholesale contracting in Maldives, Bali, Indonesia, Cambodia, Myanmar, Vietnam and Malaysia. With more destinations to be added to the list soon, we wanted to expand our market profile and reach out to the potential market from this region.”

Representing Cora Cora Maldives at the roadshow, Karishma Kazi, Director, BlackTurtle said, “This was the first event organised by Cora Cora Maldives in India. The idea was to showcase the product and provide complete knowledge about the resort’s features and offerings to the Indian clientele. I’m really happy with the response we received at all three cities and look forward to more such engaging events with our trade partners in coming months.”

Speaking about the South Indian market potential for Kazakhstan, Rohit Shorey, Director, Kazin DMC said, “The one-on-one networking session allowed us to educate our partners’ agents about Kazakhstan which is relatively a new destination with colossal tourism potential in times ahead. It also gave them the confidence to sell Kazakhstan to their respective clients.” According to Shorey, the cities were strategically selected to introduce Kazakhstan as a tourist destination for winter tourism & MICE.
