From Hong Kong, the Resorts World One cruise ship is now set to offer 2 and 3-Night Sanya cruises, departing twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays, making it a fortnightly delight for eager vacationers. Starting at HK$1,200 per guest based on twin sharing, this voyage promises a delightful journey to one of Hainan’s premier destinations.

Sanya, renowned for its spectacular coastlines, picturesque scenery, unique seafood delicacies, and rich cultural heritage, awaits travellers seeking an unforgettable getaway. Vacationers will now have the opportunity to easily hop on board the Resorts World One cruise and explore the wonders of this tropical paradise.

In celebration of this inaugural sailing to Sanya, a special celebratory event graced the ship before its departure from Hong Kong. The official ceremony was attended and officiated by notable figures, including Li Zhongguang, Deputy Director-General Department of Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television and Sports of Hainan, along with Lau Chun, JP, Acting Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau of Hong Kong, and Michael Goh, President, Resorts World Cruises. The ceremony marked the official commencement of cruises to Sanya, setting the stage for a remarkable voyage.

As preparations were underway to welcome disembarking guests upon the inaugural arrival in Sanya on Monday, September 25, 2023, Goh expressed his excitement, stating, “Today’s inaugural sailing from Hong Kong to Sanya marks a new chapter for our company and our ship, as we continue to innovate new itineraries with popular destinations that will boost the regional tourism sector and provide exciting choices for travellers.”

With Hong Kong’s highly connected network of flights, land transportation, high-speed links, sea, and ferry connections with Mainland China and international destinations, access to board the Resorts World One cruise is made convenient for overseas travellers and mainland Chinese residents, especially from the Greater Bay Area. Furthermore, international travellers from countries listed under Hainan’s “59 Visa Free Entry Eligible Countries” can seamlessly join the voyage without the need for a Chinese visa when cruising from Hong Kong to Sanya, subject to specific terms and conditions outlined by the People’s Government of Hainan Province.

Adding to the allure of this adventure, vacationers have the opportunity to extend their holiday experience by exploring Hong Kong both before and after the cruise, allowing them to relish the best of both worlds in Hong Kong and Sanya, both renowned duty-free hubs.
